Welcome
To The
Penns
Creek Chapter
Of
Trout Unlimited
Trout
Unlimited's mission is to conserve, protect, and restore North America's
trout and salmon fisheries and their watersheds.
About
Our Chapter
The
Penns Creek Chapter of Trout Unlimited is located in central
Pennsylvania. It was chartered on March 23, 1971. There were
six founding members. Today our membership roster hovers around a
hundred members, over some years, under other years. We are one of
the first chapters to be chartered in the state of Pennsylvania.
In 1973 this chapter won the Golden Trout Award from TU National.
In the same year, Gene Brown, the chapter president, was awarded the
Golden Trout Award for personal achievement. It was a very good
year for this chapter. We are close to many excellent cold water
streams. These streams are a joy to fish and our responsibility to
help to protect and conserve.
